“Meet Kara and Adam! They are the most heartfelt and sincere couple I have ever met. Incredibly kind, generous, and soooo in love! You can see it in all the details surrounding their July wedding at DuCard Vineyards in Madison County Virginia.
Kara wanted a simple country wedding with stunning wildflowers and a light and airy feeling to encapsulate their day. DuCard was the perfect location to capture her vision. Kara and Adam wanted the wedding day to be laid back with romantic and personal touches. This concept was brought to life with lots of vintage details, such as a handmade bouquet of broaches she had collected, sparkly shoes that Kara attached each individual crystal on herself, and a unique guest book where names were signed on the back side of the couples vintage record collection. The bride arrived at the flower lined isle with her father, in a vintage convertible ready to walk down the isle as they stepped out of the car. Such lovely details!
Kara’s dress was a stunning hand beaded full length vintage gown she had converted to a corset… she loved the new back and the customized details. The dress truly complimented Kara’s petite frame. She looked like a princess straight out of a fairy tale!
The couple wanted the reception to be intimate and laid back. With soft candle lit lighting, handmade centerpieces lining the tables, good southern BBQ, and a doughnut truck with hot fresh doughnuts with a scoop of homemade ice cream, it was a perfect atmosphere for family and friends to enjoy each others company and dance the night away. The day was full of stunning light and wonderful moments between family and friends. So happy we got to celebrate and share in this joyous occasion.
Thank you so much Melody for sending us this gorgeous wedding! We are always thrilled to share such beautiful weddings that have taken place in the Charlottesville area. Congratulations Kara and Adam. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together.
